Queen Victoria Public School was my first school in Canada. Located on Jameson and King Street West, these were the locations of where I made my first Canadian friends.
I THINK I FOUND MY HOME
A documentary of Queen Victoria Public School thought the artist’s perspective. Queen Victoria was not just an elementary school but another home; A home full of new people to meet who taught her a new language. Visiting after 10 years, everything was different yet exactly the same. The person you are today and the person who was in first grade are drastically different yet the exact same. Queen Victoria was the base of the mold and everything else was built on top. “I THINK I FOUND MY HOME” tours the entire school visiting every classroom the artist had and every memory that was present though a specific location. This photobook is a branch/continuation from the final term project.
